We held our Graduation Ceremony and Mass for our Sixth class last Friday.

It included a lovely Mass celebrated by Father Kelly and a musical celebration by all the pupils who got to showcase their musical talent and singing under the guidance of Mr Peter Neary and Ms Gorham. Our thanks go to both Father Kelly and Mr Neary for their support and participation.

Mrs Bonner and Mrs Flynn both talked about what it has been like to teach this particular group of students from Junior Infants all the way through to Sixth class, they explained how much they enjoyed teaching them and told a few stories!

Each Sixth-class pupil then spoke about their favourite and most memorable times at Stokane N.S. Many of their memories evoked a lot of laughter from the audience as they talked about the funny occurrences in school life.

We had a beautiful and very tasty Graduation Cake made by some of our Sixth-class pupils which was cut and enjoyed by everyone with tea or coffee.

We would like to extend a big thankyou to all the parents, grandparents and friends who joined us, we hope you enjoyed the day.

Graduation Day is always an emotional day for everyone, we are delighted to see our Sixth class move onward and upward in the world, we love to get regular updates on how they are getting on and hope that they will come back and visit us when they can.
