Healthy Eating Policy
We encourage our pupils to make healthy eating choices. School lunches are provided and choices can be made via the lunch providers app. Pupils can also bring food from home if they wish. Lunches should consist of a healthy sandwich, wrap or similar and some fruit or yogurt. On Friday pupils can include a small treat with their lunch. All drinks should be in reusable bottles and we do not allow fizzy drinks. We believe children behave and concentrate noticeably better having eaten a healthy lunch.
Book Rental
All books and workbooks are purchased in bulk by the school and supplied through the Book Rental Scheme. The fee charged also includes Test Booklets, Art Supplies, IT resources, printing, photocopying and Pupil Personal 24 Hour Accident cover.
All copies, scrapbooks, folders, homework Journal and pencils are provided in the Junior Room, throughout the year, as part of our Book rental Scheme.
Music
All pupils learn a traditional instrument beginning with tinwhistle in Junior infants. Music is practiced each morning and is a lively and tuneful way to start the day.
