We have a clear vision of what we want to achieve in Stokane National School
To be the best we can be!
Mission Statement
Stokane National School is a caring and inclusive Catholic primary school committed to the holistic development of every child. We strive to hand on Christian values and a shared Irish culture to the next generation, nurturing faith, respect, and a strong sense of community.
While Stokane N.S. is a school with a Catholic ethos, we recognise and welcome children of all religious beliefs and of none, valuing diversity and promoting mutual understanding and respect.
Our school crest, depicting sheaves of grain gathered in a stook, symbolises our school community of pupils, parents, and staff working in partnership and supporting one another to create happy, caring, and trusting relationships. The spirit of our school is reflected in the dedication, commitment, and positivity of all.
Founded in 1891, we honour our rich heritage while preparing our pupils to be the very best they can be — now and into the future.
Aims
We aim:

- To value and empower both pupils and staff by recognising and celebrating effort, success, and achievement.
- To nurture mutual respect, tolerance, and teamwork, encouraging pupils to support and value one another equally.
- To develop a culture of ambition and aspiration, equipping our pupils with the skills, confidence, and character to pursue their dreams and contribute positively to society.
