The Board of Management of Stokane National School is established to manage the school on behalf of the Patron and for the benefit of the children and their parents. The Board works to ensure that the school is effectively governed and that the best interests of the pupils remain at the centre of all decision-making.
The Board is comprised of eight members, including nominees of the Patron, representatives of the parents and teachers, and community nominees who bring valuable expertise and experience.
While members may be nominated by particular groups, once appointed, all Board members act collectively as a unified body. Individual members do not act as representatives of specific groups but share joint responsibility for the overall governance and leadership of the school.
The Board provides strategic leadership, supports the Principal and staff, and ensures the effective management of the school in line with its Catholic ethos and educational objectives.
