🧱⭐🏆⭐🧱Stokane National School’s “Fossil Finders” team had an incredible weekend at the FIRST LEGO League National Final in Dublin—bringing home a trophy for their outstanding work! 🧱⭐🏆⭐🧱
The FIRST LEGO League is a STEM-based competition that combines LEGO robotics, research, project presentation, teamwork, and plenty of fun. This year’s theme, “Unearthed,” challenged teams to explore problems faced by archaeologists.
The Fossil Finders rose to the challenge with creativity and enthusiasm. They designed and coded their very own robot, Digbot 3000, to compete in the robot games. Their innovation project focused on real-world archaeological challenges, supported by research that included local site visits and discussions with experts in archaeology and engineering.
The team went above and beyond—dressing the part and even creating an archaeology-themed cake for their presentation!
🌟🏆🌟All their dedication and hard work paid off when they were awarded a FIRST LEGO League Trophy for their Innovation Project. A fantastic achievement and a proud moment for the whole school community!🌟🏆🌟
