We all arrived back to school at the end of August refreshed and raring to go!

We had a very exciting first day with a visit from a local Magician who had children and adults alike absolutely enthralled.

As many of you may know we have a lot of changes this year.

We welcomed our new Junior Infants to who have all settled in very well. They are all enjoying the transition to big school and are doing an excellent job with their school work and on their tin whistles.

We wish Mrs. Bonner and Mrs. Flynn huge congratulations on their joint retirement and they will be sadly missed by everyone. With every loss there is a gain and we are delighted to welcome            Mrs. Mc Cormack and Ms. O’Hora as our new principal and deputy principal to our school.

We have another new face in our Junior room where Mrs. Mc Loughlin will job share with Mrs. Moran.

Our music teacher Mr. Neary has followed in the footsteps of Mrs. Bonner and Mrs Flynn and has also announced his retirement. Staff and pupils will miss his enthusiastic presence and not to mention his jokes, each week.  We are delighted to have Mark O’Donnell now joining us every Tuesday morning for music lessons.

It’s been a busy time and it will only get busier!
