Christmas Market Day is one of the most highly anticipated dates in the Stokane National School calendar. Every year just before the holidays we hold an in-school Christmas Market for the pupils. It’s a lovely way to get everyone feeling festive and ready for all the excitement to come. The Fifth and Sixth class pupils set up and run stalls for the younger students to visit and enjoy. Just like a real Christmas Market we get a great variety of stalls and very happy jolly stall holders!

This year we had lots of activities on offer, there was reindeer food to make, a ribbon pull game, golf, a paper cup game, and a sweet matching challenge.  For those with an artistic flair there was a Christmas colouring competition, Tree ornaments to decorate, Christmas Card making and gingerbread men to decorate. Lots of Christmas raffles were held with prizes galore. Well done to our Senior pupils who did a great job of planning, setting up and running their stalls. They all looked fantastic and everyone had a fabulous time.
