Our Sixth class Lego League team the Li’l Octaves headed for Dublin last Saturday morning to compete with twenty three other teams in the First Lego League All Ireland Final 2024. Their Innovation Project focused on the importance of music being taught in schools so with this in mind their pit area included dance mats and showcased their especially created music video. Their robot ‘Issie’ performed very well in the robot games sector and they presented their innovation project to a panel of judges. In addition they played music at a variety of times through out the day on request and at one point were joined on stage by some Irish dancers who were part of another team. Their hard work and dedication paid off and they were awarded the Rising All-Stars trophy in recognication of all they have achieved.
