First Lego League Ireland provides hand on learning in STEM Robotics for school aged children.

It’s that time of year again and Sixth class are hard at work on their competition entry for the First Lego League Tournament Challenge 2024. This year the theme is “Masterpiece” which focuses on sharing their passion for the Arts with others.

They are researching their theme, working on their presentations and creating and designing their robot, code named “Issie” (Issie does not always behave but they are managing to pull her into line!) The team will present their Innovation Solution, Core Values and Robot Design at a regional tournament in February and have their robot take part in the Robot Games challenge, it involves teamwork, design and programming skills – and most importantly having fun.

 Last year we brought home a trophy so fingers crossed for a good result again this year!
