We hope you all had a lovely half term break and had lots of fun.
Although we are back to school now, we thought you might like to see what we got up to in the run up to Hallowe’en.
The pupils created lots of Hallowe’en inspired artwork to decorate the school and the Junior Room students decorated their very own haunted house.
They made some scary creatures to be featured as part of the Scary Woods Walk event being held at Kilglass House and Woodlands. All the pupils got to travel to Kilglass House and participate in the Scary Woods walk on Friday morning. There were some shrieks and screams and lots of laughs as they saw strange beasts and met some interesting characters while they walked through the woods.
The pupils and staff all dressed up for Hallowe’en on the last day and we had some very unusual creatures and characters arrive to school. Once everyone returned from the outing to Kilglass Woods the festivities began. There was fun and games and lots of goodies.
Luckily everyone behaved themselves and no one was eaten alive, scared stiff or turned into a frog!
Rumour has it that a very odd combination of comrades took over the staffroom at break time…
