The Stokane NS Red Dragons returned triumphant bearing a trophy for Robot Design from the First Lego League Regional Tournament 2023 in Galway!

A lot of very hard work went into their submission over the last few months. They had to research and create an innovation project based around Energy Conservation for the local area. They designed, built and programmed their robot (named Billy!) to complete a series of tasks in a limited time frame in the Robot games sector.  The team presented to a panel of judges on all aspects of their submission and answered questions relating to their project and Robot design. They also decorated their pit area with a large poster showcasing their project journey and brought themed cupcakes and goodies which they shared with everyone.

We are very proud of the team and their supporters on their achievements and how they represented our school on the day.
